Lets Make Magic for Mike

We are Elena and Nick Litz from Woodinville, WA on behalf of Mike and Matt Sansone (father/son). Matt and I have been best friends for 10 years running. Mike, his Father, has recently received upsetting news regarding his health and we believe there is a community out there who can make an impact to help alleviate some of the stresses that come with healthcare concerns.
On February 7, Mike was told he had a golf ball sized tumor in his bladder. Like so many other families, we were hopeful proper treatment and removal of the tumor would be the end and the healing process could begin. But rarely do cancer stories end that simply.
February 22, Mike went to the follow up appointment to be cleared. Unfortunately, the discovery was made that the cancer had spread through the muscle tissue and would continue to do so. Treatment was needed immediately. After treatment Mike's bladder will need to be removed.
For everyone that has met Mike, bought a car from him, seen him at one of Matt's softball games, or even had breakfast with him at Alexa's, you know how positive he is. He is the sun to defrost the Seattle's Freeze. This is a man that at every turn in life makes lemonade out of lemons.
But today he needs us. On average the cost of chemo treatment can be $100,000 (and most not covered by insurance).
This is to show Mike our hugs, when he isn't strong enough to come to breakfast. This is a rental truck, because he has to move back in with his son. This is a pizza, when the chemo is so bad that he doesn't want to eat. This is 25 bouquets of flowers, when he is stuck in a hospital waiting room all day for weeks on end.
Our aim is to make sure the above activities can continue to happen. All proceeds from our generous donors will go towards the cost of Mike's cancer treatment.
We hope that he beats cancers butt! So let show him the same love and encouragement as he has shown to so many of us.
