On Thursday of last week around 2 am Mike unknowingly suffered from a heart attack. Luckily he realized something wasn’t right after going to work that morning and checked himself in to the Chambersburg Hospital. After checking blood levels it was confirmed that he did have in fact a full blown heart attack. He was assessed by the cardiologist and the plan was supposed to be a quick procedure to place a stint to correct a blockage. Unfortunately the scan revealed a more complicated situation and he was transported to the York Hospital on Friday evening to be assessed by the cardiologists there.
He is currently still hospitalized in York and is waiting to have a triple bypass surgery sometime this week. He is in good spirits but did have another small episode today - luckily not another heart attack but some complications with numbness in his left arm and leg.
I am asking for your help to cover his medical expenses and any necessities he may have to get him through these next 2 months seeing as how the recovery time is between 4-6 weeks as long as everything goes smoothly with the surgery. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. If anyone has any questions or would like to visit him at the York hospital please let me know.
