Michael is a roofer in Florida.  On Friday May 25th, after work,  he was on his way to his apartment, and was run over by a car. Michael was riding his bicycle.  Fortunately the person who hit him stopped and Mike was taken to the hospital.  His right foot was severely damaged and he needed surgery to have screws, a plate and pins inserted.   Because health coverage is so expensive, Mike doesn't have health insurance.  While we hope and pray that the drivers insurance company will cover the medical costs, Mike really is in need of help.  He cant work and the surgeon said it will be several months.  He lives alone and has no one to help him with living expenses at this time. Mike is stubborn and would try to work but that's not possible.  He has no money for groceries, his rent, his medications, his other bills or even a bus pass. His mode of transportation was also demolished in the accident.  Although his family tries to help they can't  afford all of his expenses. Mike is not able to return to Pittsburgh, his home town, because of his medical care he needs to receive in florida.  We hope you can find it in your hearts a way to help Mike.   This accident has taken a lot from Mike, who remains frustrated because of his situation.
