Mike Gengler got a liver!
Donation protected
Our Dad, Mike Gengler just received a Liver Transplant! Dad has a rare genetic disease, Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency which cause cirrhosis of his liver. This required him to need a total liver transplant. After the liver was removed and dissected they discovered he also had liver cancer
After 3 years on the transplant list, on Sunday January 26, 2020 God gave him the perfect liver. Recovery is going better then any of us could have ever imagined. There no other signs of cancer and a complete recovery is anticipated. God is GOOD!
Although he was pre-approved for the transplant, there are many additional expenses. We would like to help relieve some of the stress. The price of the anti rejection meds alone is astronomical. We would also like to be able to help by hiring a housekeeper while he is in the healing process.
He is the walking miracle we’ve been praying for. We are asking for help with the extra of medication expense and cost of day to living as he begins living again!
Thank you and please pass along
