I am the Chief Executive Officer for and have worked at the Severn Rivers Trust for 9 1/2 years and will be leaving at the end of June for a new role.

Our vision is a healthy vibrant Severn for everyone.

We are in a global biodiversity emergency. Since 1970 we have lost more than 70% of our freshwater populations! So many freshwater species that people love are disappearing - the beloved "Ratty" water voles, the iconic salmon, the fascinating European eel! They are in real trouble and need the help of organisations like the Severn Rivers Trust.

We have all learned more about our local environment during the past 12 months in lockdown. We have all learnt to love our wildspaces for their beauty and for our own health and well being.
