Hello Family & Friends. My husband of 21 years, Michael (Mike) Troxell has been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia (www.lbda.org). Being only 59, it definitely was a shock to our family. Now our situation has changed where he needs constant care both at home and eventually moving into assisted living when the times comes.
We are raising money for him to receive the needed Long Term Care that our insurance unfortunately does not cover. This includes Home Health Aids to be with him during the week, assisting with Dressing, Grooming, Bathing, Companionship, Light Housekeeping, Toileting, Meal Prep, etc...
Those of you who know me well, I find it hard sometimes to ask for help, but I can no longer do this on my own. We need help. These past 6 months have been rough for the both us and I hope that by telling our story we can get the help we need.
