Mike's Home and Office Destroyed

Hi my name is Trevern. I’m writing this because I wanted to start a gofundme in order to hopefully get my dad Mike back on his feet. Two weeks ago, the house my dad was living in burned down due to the Palisades fire, he had just moved there late last year with the goal of simplifying his life/career. Unfortunately, he was only able to leave with a backpack and his laptop, leaving with not much in terms of creature comforts, and nothing in terms of clothing and shelter. With his home also being his office, and both being a pile of rubble now, it’s going to difficult for him to survive and work in a meaningful and healthy manner. If you know him (or me), you probably know how we both don’t willingly share the negative parts of our lives with others. He isn’t the type of person to ask for help, and is a pretty solitary person. However, given the circumstances, I want to help him financially get back on his feet until he’s able to comfortably and safely exist and work again. He’s currently without a stable living situation and reliable transportation, so I’d like to hopefully get him housed and back on the road as soon as possible(he sold his car four years ago, he’s an LA resident, I know he’s crazy for that). I love my dad and it really pains me that I can’t physically be there for him or financially support him in the way that I want to.
