Mike Tannheimer was a loving father, a devoted husband and a successful business man. He was plagued for most of his life with a 25 year battle with mental illness. He suffered the highs and lows of this disease and as of this week that battle has ended.

His children are currently 8 and 11. Madeleine is an amazing girl who loves geology, learning new things and is sharp as a tack. Logan is a great kid who is on the spectrum. He loves the outdoors and has made great progress over the past few years and with continued therapy we are confident he will be able to live an independent life.

Our goal is to raise funds for his children. For his daughter Maddie and her college expenses as she is a smart, amazing little girl who will go far. His son Logan will require funding for ongoing therapy to be able to live an independent life. Vanessa is doing the best she can but is a single mother trying to raise these children. We are asking for your support for the children's future expenses to help lighten Vanessa's load moving forward. Nothing we do can replace their father but hopefully we can make things a little easier.

The majority of us take our mental health for granted. I think that trying to help out the children of someone who struggled is the least we can do.
