Hi, I'm Natalie, Mike's youngest daughter. My dad was diagnosed with fibroblastic osteosarcoma in October 2023 - he has a growing tumor in his right sinus that is causing difficult to cope with symptoms. Dad is currently undergoing a tough serious of chemo treatments and will eventually need facial surgery to remove the mass. He lives in Fremont, receives treatment in Omaha, and is unable to drive due to the the symptoms of the tumor. He has received many requests from loved ones for how to support. We are starting this fund to help offset the costs of transportation, food, and expenses since dad is unable to work at this time. Other than financial support, my dad loves to receive notes of encouragement, reflections of times from the past, and always a good comic or joke. Dad also loves delicious food - he is meeting with a nutritionist soon and hopes to have a meal plan made up and do some meal prepping, so may be able to get some help there. He might benefit from some help running errands around town or taking care of tasks he otherwise would do himself.
