Mike Popa's Cremation+Memorial fund

Michael Popa was a loving son, brother and friend to all of us. A sensitive and caring person, Mikey was very close to us and also partnered with his father in the father's construction business. He was an amazing craftsmen that focus on details. He put his heart and soul into whatever work he did and we were proud of him. Mike loved his family, children and animals. Kobe, our yorkie, was often at his side while doing work around the neighborhood.  He was very giving and generous to all of us that knew him.

On December 20th, 2017 he went missing. Our neighbor found Kobe alone outside and the door was open wide. Friends, family and community had searched for him with the hope to find him alive and well. It has been very surreal and heartbreaking time for us. We have been praying continuously. 

On Thursday February 9th, Mike was found in the frigid cold lake across from our house and did not make it. It has been crushing to find out how close he was and see his lifeless body taken away. While the investigation on the cause of his death is still ongoing, we are continuing to pray for peace and healing. 

We plan to have a service for Mike's life at Calvary Alliance Church on Sunday February 18th, 2018. We appreciated all the help from surrounding communities. With the untimely and unexpectedly death of our beloved son, we really appreciate with any help with funeral expenses that will occurs.
