On Saturday Feb 3rd my good friend Mike Morisky's 19 year old son Matthew had a terrible skiing accident. Although he was wearing a helmet, he suffered a major head injury and is in ICU in a coma as of this date. An MRI has given the family hope for some level of recovery, but the extent of his brain damage and long term prognosis remains unclear.
Matthew is a wonderful young man and in his sophmore year at SDSU. I have skied the slopes with Matthew and his Dad on many occasions and hope to do so again soon.
I ask that you send this wonderful family your thoughts and prayers and anything you can do to help with mounting medical bills at this challenging time.
