Get Mike on the Road Again.

Hello Everyone!
I am here today to ask for your help in raising money to get Mike's car fixed. His chrysler 300 was recently in a three car pile up on Valentine's day. Two out of the three cars left the scene with a couple of bumps and scratches, but Mike's car had to be towed to a shop. It has 9,000 dollars worth of damage and Mike has been without a car since the accident.

Two weeks of fighting with insurance companies and talking to lawyers, we have no other option than to pay for the repairs out of pocket. He did not have collision coverage.
For those of you who do not know Mike, he suffered a spinal cord injury when he was 19 years old, paralyzing him from the waist down. After 3 years of rehabilitation, the Courage Center taught him how to drive using hand controls. This gave him the opportunity to become independent on his transportation. Mike refused to be known as the 24 year old, paraplegic who drives a mini van, so he bought his Chrysler 300. He had to make some adaptations to this car to fit his needs (hand controls and special doors), but in the end he got a car he was proud to be seen in. With the ability to transport himself, he was able to get a job 30 minutes away from him. Mike works at a non-profit organization as an instructor of life skills to adults with traumatic brain injuries. Everyone at work knows whether or not Mike is there because they associate this car to him.
Anyone who knows Mike will know that he never asks for help. His car gave him the independence to do things like go to work, hang out with friends, and other every-day things. We'd love to give him that independence back and would appreciate any help
Thank you in advance for any help provided!
