The Mike Browarski Memorial Fund
Donation protected

Mike Browarski went into the hospital on the afternoon of September 1, 2016, with complaints of shortness of breath and erratic heart rate. The doctors quickly diagnosed him with a bad case of pneumonia and expected him to get better with a round of antibiotics. He had just celebrated his 49th birthday earlier that week.
On Saturday the 3rd, Mike's respiratory condition worsened and the doctors moved him into the intensive care unit. He was placed on a ventilator with the hope that the breathing machine would give his lungs a break to recover and heal. It would be a few more days before the doctors identified Mike's illness as Legionnaires' disease, a very rare and severe form of pneumonia. Mike ultimately died of cardiac failure on September 12th, one day before his 8th wedding anniverary with his wife Jennifer Kott.
Mike was a proud and private man. As his sister-in-law, I've witnessed Mike many times, without hesitation, step forward and take charge of a situation where someone needed help, be it caring for their pets, kids, or just lending a hand. So many of you have come forward, asking what you can do to support Jennifer. In life, Mike was rarely one to ask for help himself. However, we know that in his death he wouldn't want to be the cause of any hardship to anyone and to know that Jenn was taken care of. Please consider donating to Mike's memorial fund, aka the "F--- You Death" fund, with all proceeds going to pay for his medical bills and to support his wife during this difficult transition. And afterwards, please share this campaign with your friends and family. We need your help, at any amount, to get towards this goal.
There will be two memorial services held in Mike's honor:
