A) Who Am I

- Mike Boyd - Professional Drummer/Musician/Producer/Instructor in the Denver Metro Area.

- Mike Boyd endorses Sabian Cymbals and Vater Percussion.

- Currently working with Academy Award nominated and Emmy Award winning videographer and Photographer Bob Carmichael
with son Jesse Carmichael of Maroon 5.
Work includes video and sound production for Mike Boyd @ Side 3 Studios (Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Enrique Iglesias), Denver CO.

- Recently wrote and recorded drums on the album "Till Death Do Us Party" with Denver based band Caramel Carmela. Members include
Kyle Browning of Drop Dead, Gorgeous, as well as Jack Roberts, Joe Megg, Sha Gipson (NGHS) Recorded in Detroit, MI with producer Matt Dalton (I See Stars, Chiodos, Metro 37 Studios).

1. Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps - Snare - 2004, 2005, 2006
Phantom Regiment placed 5th at the 2004 Drum Corps International World Championships,
3rd at the 2005 Drum Corps International World Championships, 2nd at the 2006 Drum Corps International World Championships,
and won the Fred Sanford "High Percussion" award for the first time ever (50 years) at the 2006 Drum Corps International World Championships.
2. Blue Knights Indoor Percussion Ensemble - Snare - 2002, 2003.
Blue Knights placed 2nd at the 2002 Winter Guard International World Championships, and 1st at the 2003 Winter Guard International World Championships.
3. University of North Texas A-Line - Snare - UNT has one of the most prestigious drum and percussion programs in the world.
4. Northglenn High School Drum line - Snare - Northglenn placed 4th, and 5th place, in the highest division, at the Winter Guard International World Championships during Mikes time there.
5. Denver Brocos Stampede Drum Line - Snare - 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007. - Mike was one of the first drummers to perform for the modern day NFL (National Football League).

B) What Am I Doing -

1. Mike is recording his first solo EP/MixTape, which will be published on iTunes as well as his website.
Packaged and distributed via physical copies/traditional CD albums.

2. Continuing the process of creating and establishing his brand as a musician/performer/producer/song writer

3. Providing music for the purpose of live showcase performances and live entertainment.

4. Gearing up to start his own clothing line as well as establishing a well rounded brand with the use of music entertainment.


C) What I Need -

Total = $4,750.00


D) What It's For -

1. 2 days mixing @ The Blasting Room Ft. Collins, CO. = $400.00 ($200.00 per day)
2. Andrew Berlin (Mixing Engineer) = $600.00 ($300.00 per day)
3. EP Master for iTunes distribution = $575.00 (4 songs)
4. Disc Makers (Physical CD Prints for Distribution) = $400.00 ($340.00 plus tax for every 100 prints)
5. iTunes Distribution = $50.00 yr
6. Approximate total = $2,000.00 Additional $2,750.00 for Artwork, Posters, Shirts, Stickers, Tax etc..
Total = $4,750.00
- Mike will be mixing @ The Blasting Room. Ft. Collins, CO. with engineer Andrew Berlin (Rise Against, As I Lay Dying, Flobots, NOFX, POD) *Scheduled*
- His music will be mastered by Jason Livermore (Rise Against, As I Lay Dying, Flobots, NOFX, Alkaline Trio) @ The Blasting Room. Ft. Collins, CO. *Scheduled*
- Mike will have his music published and distributed through iTunes.
- Hard CD Copies will be printed through CD Baby.

E) What You Receive In Return For Your Donation -

1. The top 3 highest donations get a thank you credit on the album, a printed hard copy of the EP, as well as free entry to the first Mike Boyd Drums solo showcase performance.
2. Every donation of $20 or higher will receive a code from Mike Boyd to download the EP for free.
3. Every donation will receive a personal thank you card with a Mike Boyd Drums autograph and endorsement.


Side Note - My friend Joseph House gave me the foundation for building my own studio back in 2008. His donation was colossal, and well exceeded $20,000.00
We had made a pact to produce our own music, and since then Joseph has disappeared.
As I have continued on my path to musical success, I have decided to kickstart this project therefore initiating the fulfillment of a pact Joseph and I had made together years ago.
This EP has been written and recorded, and will be performed in his honor.
