Help Mike Decker Meet Emerging Health Needs

During winter of 2020, Mike has been struggling to overcome an illness that kept getting worse and worse.  Initially he had pain in his legs, and could not walk or work.  He had respiratory issues, where he could hardly breathe.  He could not sleep because of this.  He was  getting weaker and weaker to the point he could not get out of bed.  During this time his wife had to be there 100% of the time.   A heartbreaking time for him and his family.  He always thought on a good day he is getting better, but usually the next day a turn for the worse proved otherwise.   

Then in March during the COVID-19 period he finally ended up in the hospital.  And after many tests,  he was  put on dialysis.  (He had been having kidney issues for many years, but had never been so severely sick, so long a stretch before.)  He was also diagnosed with severe arthritis.  Doctors also wanted to check the condition of his heart, but so far he has been too weak.  Right now he is still practically disabled.

So, as Mike focuses on getting better,  we as a family are sincerely asking for financial help because out of pocket costs is both the biggest challenge and one of the most stressful parts of his healthcare.
