Mike's Accident Recovery

Donation protected
On December 17th, Mike Mallon was involved in a serious car accident in which he was cut out from the vehicle. Mike was on his way to work his second job as a UH-60 helicopter pilot with the Michigan Army National Guard. Mike is currently hospitalized in the Neuro-ICU. His injuries involve a fracture in his neck, lacerated spleen, multiple broken ribs, and a broken femur in two places. Since being admitted to the hospital, he has had numerous surgeries and frequent MRIs to monitor for any brain damage. Mike is currently relying on intubation to breathe and is heavily sedated.

Mike is one tough Soldier, and now he and his family need our help. His wife Kaleen has not left his side at the hospital since the accident, putting an additional financial strain on the family as Kaleen is missing work to be with Mike.  With young children at home, Haizley (3 years old) and Lucas (2 years old), it is an especially challenging time to be hospitalized and out of work.

Another unfortunate result of the accident was the total loss of their only vehicle with space to carry two car seats for Haizley and Lucas.

Please help us in raising money for Mike, Kaleen, Haizley, and Lucas during this holiday season. Our goal is to help them raise enough money to help in the replacement of their lost vehicle and their lost income during his recovery.
