Mike Winland Studios

Mike Winland Studios opened in Charleston in October of 1998 nearly twenty two years ago .  I remember this because it's the same day our oldest child was born. In that time I've been really truly honored to work with and document memories for thousands of family's from babies to children, high school seniors, wedding and new families,  for many individuals all in that order.  Now Mike Winland's Studio is the last retail storefront portrait studio still open in Charleston and Covid couldn't have hit at a worse time of year. The busy season that pays the property taxes, mortgage and expenses to get through the slower summer months is ruined. The SBA loan programs may be great for some larger businesses but they do little or nothing  for most small mom & pop shops.
