Mike Wilcox, a lifelong resident of Starke County, dedicated much of his time to serving the county in many different capacities, such as an EMT, firefighter, posse member, and reserve officer.
He was responding to a call with Starke County EMS on August 5, 2023, when the ambulance he was driving was struck by another vehicle.
He was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene. Mike was a well-loved father, husband, grandfather, friend, colleague, and so much more. He will long be remembered for his kind heart and as the proud family man he was.
All donations will be directed straight to the family to help ease any financial strain they may face so they can focus on each other during this time.
