Mike Warrens last wishes

Donation protected
My name is Mike Warren, and I am the oldest son of (Big) Mike Warren. I have set up this Go Fund Me to assist with the costs associated with my father's passing.

If you are reading this, you were probably lucky enough to know my Dad. If you are from Fryeburg, you may have even heard someone say: "Those God Damn Warren Boys" at some point in the past, or while talking to the locals around town. One of 5 Warren boys, he and his brothers were a rowdy bunch, with huge hearts made of gold. Over the years, each of his brothers have passed away, and with my Dad's passing, an incredible era has come to an end.

My Dad passed away on March 10, 2022 at 8:12 pm after spending his last 24 hours with his children by his side. We were blessed to have him conscious and able to communicate with us for parts of those 24 hours. We were able to tell him how much we loved him, how much he meant to us, and how grateful we were to have him. On the anniversary of his brother Patrick's death, he passed away peacefully and pain-free. If there is one thing we know, it's that the Warrens stick together, even in death.

I have read that to leave a legacy means to leave the places you go and the people you meet a little better than you found them. I cannot think of a better way to describe the impact my Dad had on so many people throughout his life. The legacy he left behind will live on through his friends, family, and everyone who loved him so much. I can't speak for anyone else, but I can say for certain that I am a better man because he was my Dad.

With heavy hearts, we (his children) now have the responsibility of carrying out his last wishes and laying him to rest. His main wish was to be cremated and not to be buried but kept in an urn. Once Dad is home, we will plan a kick-ass celebration of life that will be held at his home in Fryeburg. We hope that everyone can join us to share their favorite stories, mourn his loss, but mostly to celebrate one Hell of a Man and the life he lived. We will also plan a more formal funeral service for anyone that might not be comfortable attending the celebration of life. Dad touched so many lives throughout his years, and it is important to us that we consider everyone and that you all know how grateful we are that he had so many loving and caring people in his life.

We are so thankful for any donations that we receive. They will be used to fund the cremation, urns, services and celebration of life. We have set up an email address for anyone who wishes to contact us for more information on service/celebration of life dates, to share memories or pictures, or anything else you might want to communicate to the family. The email address is BigMike31022.  Just add the gmail at the end.

With all of our love, thank you so much.
