Mike Villafana Alcantar's Funeral Fundraiser

Sadly, our dad, Mike Alcantar, passed on the 3rd of June, 2022. His passing came sooner than expected, and my mom, brothers and I miss him very dearly.
We've gotten word that many of our dad's friends and colleagues want to reach out and help in any way, and our family greatly appreciates it. Our dad was truly fortunate to have so many people that cared about him, and we are so grateful that that kindness is being extended to us.
Our dad was a stubborn but honest man who had friends of all backgrounds. He was kind and charitable to those he felt needed that extra bit of kindness, and generous to hard and honest workers. He was a man that enjoyed being outdoors and going on little adventures with family and friends, always looking for a nice outdoorsy nap spot. Above all else, he adored his grandkids and spoiled them often. The oldest granddaughter Lily was his adventure buddy, and the youngest granddaughter, Emma, was his little partner in crime. And even though his grandson Nate is still too young, he was Papa's little man and other trouble maker.
It was a short fight, but our dad fought it to the end. He was a proud man, a loving father, grandfather, husband and brother who never lost his spirit. He told us all to stay strong, and as hard as it is, we will. We miss you so much, dad, and we know you're at peace now.
