I am a close family friend of Mike Thomas and his family.  It is with a heavy heart that I am asking for your help.  Mike was taken to the hospital after having a seizure and thought the diagnosis was meningitis. After having an MRI, he and his family were informed that he has 5 spots on his brain, which are stage 4 cancer. The doctors think the cancer originated in his lungs. He is going to have a very long road of treatment ahead of him. He does not have medical insurance or any paid leave time from work.  He recently lost his mother and father less than a month apart. Mike has a 14 year daughter named Hanna and he is her sole provider. This is such a heartbreaking time for her. This should be the most carefree time of her life, but instead she is mourning the loss of her grandparents and now trying to process the devasting diagnosis of her father. Any amount that you can give will be greatly appreciated by Mike and his family. If you are unable to give financially, you can still help by keeping Mike and Hanna in your prayers.
