Meet Mike — our fighter.

Mike has always been a hard-working, kind-hearted man who puts his family and community first. Whether he was cheering on LSU, helping a neighbor, or sharing a laugh, Mike has touched the lives of so many.

Earlier this year, Mike was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) — a devastating neurodegenerative disease that has changed his and our family’s life forever. ALS affects the nerve cells that control movement, eventually impacting everything from walking and speaking to breathing. There is currently no cure.

Despite this heartbreaking diagnosis, Mike is facing ALS like the fighter he is. But this fight is not one he can do alone.

We are asking for your support to help Mike and our family with:

• Ongoing medical expenses

• Home modifications to make life more accessible

• Mobility equipment (wheelchairs, lifts, etc.)

• In-home care and support services

We’ve created this fundraiser to give friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers a way to stand with Mike in his fight — and to help ease the incredible financial burden that comes with this diagnosis.
