Hi, my name is Barb Tanner and I am fundraising for my husband Mike Tanner. As some of you know Mike is a left below knee amputee for the past 8 years due to a diabetic ulcer that started on his left foot.

Currently, Mike is in the hospital with an diabetic ulcer to his right foot and had surgery on June 23rd 2022. He is recovering but needs IV antibiotics for 6 weeks and has a wound vac to his foot to help with healing and tissue growth. Both of these thing are very expensive.

Mike had recently changed jobs and was not yet eligible for insurance and marketplace coverage was not affordable, as I am sure some of you can relate.
