Mike Tanii’s Fight-For-Life Fund

On the morning of Wednesday 9/18/24, Mike was airlifted to an ICU in a South Dakota hospital with a diagnosis of a severe hemorrhagic stroke. The craniotomy did relieve pressure and he fought hard, his family fought hard and the doctors fought hard. He wanted to eat chicken wings, he wanted to build legos and play video games and fall asleep on the couch with his socks falling off. He passed away with his two daughters by his side holding his hand and toes, which he would hate. (Haha) We take comfort in the fact his wife Jamie had a party waiting for him on the other side.

Everyone who knew Mike, knew him to be the funniest, sarcastic, always hungry, loving & everybody's best friend. He was always there for people in their time of need, offering whatever support he could. Now it’s our turn to come together for him and the entire family.

The good ones sometimes get called home early and the rest of us are left to pay bills. Please, if you can, share this message far and wide. We need friends and family more than ever.
