Mike's Journey

As many of you know, Mike Edens has been suffering from a rare, acute pain for over 18 months. He has seen countless doctors and other medical experts. He has undergone painful medical procedures – all in an effort to cure his pain. Nothing as of yet has been successful. Mike has had to miss months of work and his personal life has suffered as well as Mike’s pain is so debilitating that it makes it difficult for him to participate in life’s daily activities such as playing with his son, Tristan, walking their dog, Skype, or going out for dinner with his wife, Joan.

This coming June, Mike is scheduled to fly to New Jersey to meet with yet another specialist (only one of twelve in the US who works with patients suffering from the rare pain Mike does) who will run several tests in order to determine whether or not Mike is a candidate for a special surgery. If Mike is a candidate, a surgery date will be set and he (along with Joan) will fly back to New Jersery for the procedure.

As you all know, travel is very expensive. So are all the medical costs adding up for Mike and Joan.  We would like to help! We put together this donation page for Mike and Joan to help cover the costs of medical expenses and travel.  If you cannot donate money, that’s ok, just keep praying that a solution to Mike’s pain will be found soon and he and his family will be able to get back to their lives pain free!
