Mike Shank

Hi, my name is Joni and I am fundraising for the wife and Children of Mike Shank.

Mike and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. Mike passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 11th. He left behind an amazing wife, Jen, and two beautiful children, Izzy (11) and Ryder (8). Anyone who knows Jen, knows that she would never ask for anything. However, suddenly becoming a family that only has one income, is frightening and unpredictable. Jen always gives to those around her, including in her job as a special education teacher. Mike was also always giving to others! He volunteered many hours teaching kids sports, and always going out of his way for any dog, child or friend in need. I am hoping that we, as a community, can provide Jen and the kids with a little extra cushion for the months ahead.
