Mike Senger's Recovery After Lung Transplant

Hi everyone. Over a decade ago Mike was diagnosed with an untreatable lung disease. He has been on a transplant list awaiting new lungs and this past Monday finally received the long awaited call. His surgery went well and is now on the long road to recovery. The family will have to spend the next few months in an apartment near the hospital where he is receiving treatment. Living and medical expenses are going to accumulate quickly. Mike will be unable to work for some time. His wife Cheryl has severe lupus and has also been unable to work. Their son Luke has health issues and disabilities of his own, and their daughter Olivia has been shouldering way more responsibility (while in her first year of college) than any young person should have to bare.
