Mike, Sam & Baby Burke

As many of you know our dear friends and family members, Mike and Samantha Burke, were expecting their first child in June this year. In a harrowing turn of events, Sam gave birth to their sweet baby boy at just 25 weeks while they were on their babymoon in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Bringing a child into the world comes with a whole set of its own emotions and challenges. But having your baby at just 25 weeks in a country that’s not your own, away from your family and friends, is a daunting and terrifying situation.

We’re creating this GoFundMe to support them with financial needs over the next few months, as they temporarily reside in Florida to be with their little man while he remains in the NICU. We’d like to try to take away a bit of the financial burden as they move through this new chapter together, so that they may focus on getting baby boy ready to meet his family and friends back in Canada.
