Hi there ! 

As many of you know, Mike was a huge part of Kit Karson park and played on many leagues there. I have ordered a memorial bench in his honor to reside at Kit Karson park. I thought this would be a great tribute for him and his love of the sport (softball). I have met with the city and gotten the location and design approved. We are hosting a birthday softball game in his honor on April 20th. Due to covid and other things, there were many delays in the regular delivery (7-8 weeks out) so I have ordered it with a rush delivery charge that was pricey as well but I think will be worth it for the presenting of the bench to Branden and Amanda on his birthday. As we scattered Mike’s ashes on different pitching mounds at his favorite fields, they do not have a tomb stone or grave site to visit. So I thought the bench would also play the role of somewhere to say “HI” to Mike over the years. I have capped the donations at the exact cost of the bench. Any donations would be much appreciated in presenting this SURPRISE memorial to Branden (son), Amanda (daughter) and Claire (granddaughter)!
