Mike Rivera's Recovery

Hello community, friends,  and family I am the wife of Mike Rivera which is the man who was driving the white Chevy s10. On Tuesday June 4th my husband was hit from behind on the 15 southbound in Temecula. His car was sent flying off the freeway into the parking structure behind Old Town Temecula. His car was was totaled and he ended up with his leg broken in 5 places, 4 broken ribs, 5 broken vertebrae, a fractured cheekbone and jaw, stitches, staples, bumps and bruises. All this due to the carelessness of a man with no regard for human life that was driving under the influence around 7:40am a time where most people have a loved one or themselves making their daily commute. Unfortunately a woman by the name of Janet Geneo lost her life. She was a mother and wife. The link to Janet's go fund me is below. Since the accident Mike has had to overcome many challenges but he still has a positive outlook. He has so far had 1 surgery on his leg to insert multiple pins. He will have another surgery on his leg in the next 12-18 days to have the pins removed and have metal plates inserted that will stay there the rest of his life. Mike is a father, husband, brother, and son. He is a hard worker in construction and an avid golfer. I did not set a goal for this go fund me account. We met our $15,000 goal on a separate go fund me account and would like anybody that would like to donate continue to do so without feeling there is a goal that must be met.
