Mike always wanted a scholarship in his name for a young hockey player, so we’re going to make that happen for him. This is a WORK IN PROGRESS: Our hope is that an annual memorial scholarship will be donated to a Washington Township High School underclassman who demonstrates the same passion and love for the game of hockey that Mike had. The ideal athlete will be an upstanding member of the team and value teamwork, commitment, and community. Mike wanted to share his talent with young athletes to promote teamwork, commitment, and community. My dad would have loved to be apart of this, and we’re doing all we can to honor the legacy he leaves behind.

The Ritz Family is collecting donations so we can make an annual gift to a Washington Township underclassman hockey player in memory of Michael J Ritz.
