Mike Ravasco - Medical Expenses

My brother, Mike Ravasco, was getting ready to BBQ on Friday, July 6. Unfortunately, the BBQ's propane tank exploded and Mike was burned on his lower back, arms and legs. He broke his left wrist in the accident as well. 

Mike is now recovering at USC Medical Center in the Burn Unit.  He will be having surgery on his wrist and also be having skin grafts done for the burns on his lower back.  However, he is experiencing excruciating pain from his wrist (they can't set it until the swelling goes down) and from the debriding of his burn wounds.  

Mike is receiving the best of care at USC Medical Center and our family and community are rallying behind him with his healing. 

However, this journey will be long and difficult -- this is not going to be easy and he will need lots of love and support on this journey.  And sadly, this will also be a very expensive process as well for Mike -- one day at the Burn Unit costs $23,000 which doesn't include his wrist surgery, physical therapy and skin grafts.

We know how passionate Mike is about videography and photography. Perhaps he has filmed you doing what you love and you have experienced his talents behind the camera - yes, he is so good at making YOU look good! 

Mike is very stubborn and proud and would never want your charity and pity.  He is so generous about giving to his community and I imagine that YOU may want to give back to him. Here is your opportunity!
