Mike Pisko of Freehold, New Jersey has been a partner in Uptowncharlybrown Stud for over 20 years. He lost his beloved wife Pam a few years ago and has been home bound ever since. Now 87 years of age Mike is unable to walk and has lost nearly all his vision. As he said tonight he fears the end is coming. He's in pain and without a pension as medical care has eaten up his life's savings. He needs an orthopedic bed which costs $4,000. He doesn't know where to turn so he's asking for our help.
Mike was a harness trainer and driver when he was much younger. He used to love to come by Barn 38 to sit and chat with our old beloved late trainer, Alan Seewald, who like Mike, started out in standardbred racing. His only joy these days is following the adventures of Uptowncharlybrown via my emails.
Mike said he hated to ask but has nowhere else to turn but his UTCB Stud family. If you can find it in your heart to send a few dollars Mike's way he would be forever eternally grateful. Thank you for whatever you can afford. G-d Bless You All.
