Mike Pingel helping phriendly hospital fund

Pinger here:  I am so grateful for all the contributions made to help with my medical bills.  Since I was released from the hospital on Thanksgiving day my life has been filled with support, activity, surprise and confusion.  Support from the greatest group of family and friends on the planet.  Activity is becoming habit rather than occasion.  Surprise and confusion from a billing system that I can't believe exists.

I think the bills have stopped coming in and as the dust settles the final number of my burden is greater than expected.  I have been exploring all my options and resources and feel I have a path forward that I am comfortable with.  That path includes something I'm not real comfortable doing.  Asking for a little more help.  If you haven't contributed or might have the means to throw in a little more please do so.  No contribution is too small.

A phrase you hear a lot is that you get to pick your friends.  Well, I've been looking at it the other way since this episode.  I am so thankful that you choose to be my friend.  Be well and have a great 2020.

As you may know by now, our phriend Mike Pingel was admitted to the hospital on 11/24.  He has found out that he has several blood clots and will have to be in the hospital for several days to get treatment.   Not having insurance can take it's toll on anyone but when you are stuck in the hospital it comes to the forefront of your thoughts.  He is always the first person to jump in and help when anyone needs it, so let's all join in to help relieve some of his worries regarding his very large inevitable hospital bill.
