Mike Paulson Memorial Scholarship

On May 26, 2013, Mike Paulson was taken from this world all too soon. Mike truly had a passion for a few things: his family, his friends, and the community of Medical Lake, WA along with the greater West Plains.

Mike spent thousands of hours volunteering in the community. Most of those hours were spent improving the organizations and facilities in the West Plains to better serve the youth. Mike had a passion for sports as well and could be found on the sidelines, in the press box, or at the scores table of nearly any sporting event. He was a member of the Medical Lake High School Booster Club and a founding member of the West Plains Little League.

In his memory, the Mike Paulson Memorial Scholarship was established to help alleviate some of the financial pressures many students at Medical Lake High School experience while preparing to attend college. Mike always went above and beyond for those he loved, and even those he barely knew. The Paulson family is hoping to generate enough funding for this scholarship to do just that, to go above and beyond for the students of Medical Lake High School.
