The Mike Kane Recovery Fund

Dear Friends & Family,

As many of you know, our good friend Mike Kane recently went through a medical procedure that had some complications. As a result of the complications, Mike was placed on life support for a few days to allow his body to recover. We are rejoicing in the fact that Mike is now back at home and watching his Chicago Cubs play ball. Unfortunately, the few days in the hospital have left him in a weakened state and Mike will spend the next 6-8 weeks regaining his strength through rest and therapy. This set back would have a huge impact on all of us, but it has especially had impact for Mike as he is a small business owner and relies on his talents as a painter to make ends meet. This is especially hard as the summer is normally his busiest time of the year when he can earn the most money. It is our hope that through Mikes network of friends and family we can help meet his immediate financial needs through this gofundme page. Our goal is to help raise $7500 for Mike which will go to help pay for his daily living expenses for the next 6-8 weeks and help offset any out of pocket medical expenses he may have.
