Needed FUNERAL costs for Mikey

Mikey fought a REALLY hard fight but it just wasn't enough and GOD had a better place for him as an Angel

Hello, I'm Stephanie- Mikey's sister.

On behalf of my brother- I'm putting this together for PRAYERS and help with my brothers expenses from medical to home costs ect. and relieve some financial strain.

Both our parents have medical conditions to include heart/diabetes & both disabled and staying in his home to alleviate some traveling. Currently without a working stove, meals for them appreciated.

Delayed in posting anything as we feared the worst and out of respect for my parent's.

Wednesday, Jan. 24-

Mikey lost control of his car on the highway due to fog/wet conditions, less than a 1/2 mile away from home. Taking out a telephone pole & slamming into a metal commerical dumpster. He suffered multiple injuries - multiple skull fractures, brain bleeding, facial fractures to include broken jaw, broken ribs, hematoma to the liver and as you can imagine many cuts/scrapes/brusing throughout his body.

He is currently intubated in a medicated induced coma, monitoring all vitals and brain bleed. He is in ICU in critical but stable condition.

Thursday, Jan. 25-

Repeat CT scan shows brain bleeding increased by 2 mm. Fever incurred and blood pressure elevated. Current but critical, stable condition.

Friday, Jan. 26-

Repeat CT no increase or decrease in bleeding, continues with fever but under control as well as blood pressure. Condition remains the same.

Saturday, Jan. 27-

Repeat CT no changes from prior. Antibiotics started, fever alleviated. Blood pressure medication discontinued with b/p holding steady. Discontinued heavy sedation to try to see if he wakes up. Still intubated. Eyes closed but makes very sudden moments to recognizing voices.

Sunday, Jan. 28-

EEG ordered to check brain waves. CT shows no changes. Is making slight movements to recognizing voices. Plan is to place trach and feeding tube of he doesn't wake up soon and do surgery on jaw.

Monday, Jan. 29-

Happy Birthday Brother

No changes, condition the same. Going for an MRI, pending results.

Tuesday, Jan 30-

Will be having trach and feeding tube placement as well as wired jaw surgery.

MRI was clear.

FEBRUARY 4 2024

Mikey had abdominal surgery and has been started on dialysis, his blood pressure is being maintained as well with medication again. His condition has gone from stable to critical again until further notice.

The prayer focus:

1. Healthy, stable stats

2. Free of complications and infections

3. Open his eyes/wake up from sedation as God protects his whole being, allowing him a second chance at life.
