My name is Trisha Strauss. I am raising money for my Dad. Mike Durham. He is currently in Stormont Vail in Topeka, KS.

They are fighting to save his right leg. He already had a partial amputation of his left foot about 10 years ago, while caring for my late mom who passed from ALS. My dad got really sick really fast and found this sore on the bottom of his foot. Not sure what caused it. He is diabetic but doesn't remember any injury to it or anything. The hospital in Manhattan, KS, just wanted to cut his leg off, so I had to fight to get him transferred out to Topeka, KS.

He will have to go to rehab for a bit for IV antibiotics and have home care and not be able to work. He is going to need help with bills and there are repairs at his home that need to be fixed to get him home from rehab! We are asking for whatever help you can give and appreciate anything!
