So most of you know that we lost Mike Moir a bit ago and I hadn't really put in 2 cents about it till now. I knew Mike for several decades and we shared a kinship in Trivial Geekology..There wasn't much that Mike didn't know or wasn't ready to discuss, like Swell Direction, Up n Coming Athletes or Mating Habits of the California Seagull..He was always Game for an Interesting Banter Session. I really Loved Mike, not only for his Photographic Abilities but His Genuineness as a Human Being. There are Hundreds if not Thousands of us that owe Mike our Careers and or some type of Fame.. Temporary or Permanent. That said, I'm going to ask All of You for some Assistance. I received a call from Mike's Wife Debra Moir today and it was a little Sensitive so I'll spare the Details but the Situation of Mike's Passing and Debra's Financial Hardship is starting to take it's Toll on Her and Son Danny. So here's my Pitch..I'm planning on Setting up a GO FUND ME Account w Funds going to Debra's Bills. Ok, I'm also going to need Help setting up an Online Store/Website to Sell Mike's Images. The Plan is to set up a ROSTER of Athletes Photos and Names and enable people to get online and Purchase Images. This would Help with a Small Monthly Income for Debra and Danny. I need a few Friends who can Help doing some Physical and Mental Labor at Mike's House as well..I.D' ing Images, Athletes, Places, goin thru Boxes Etc.. I look at as a Labour of Love and am Honored that Debra and Daniel reached out. I'm asking You Personally, Friends of Mike Moir to GIVE in whatever way you can. There are Several Companies out there as well that Owe their Success to Mike too. The Plan is Formulating right now and any Helpful Advice or Direction will be Much Appreciated.
