Mike Mohrman, our Beloved husband/ father/son/uncle/ brother, had a heart attack Saturday morning (1/27/24). He is a MUCH LOVED member of our family and an amazing friend to so many people. We are all feeling stunned and want to support Mike, Melissa, Zeke (16), and Emma (14) in every way we can.
He listened to his body and asked Melissa (his amazing wife) to bring him to the hospital when he felt chest pain and numbness in his hands.
After a brief trip to the urgent care, he was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital and underwent a procedure to clear the blockage. The doctors discovered a rare condition in his artery that they can’t treat, but must heal on its own. As he is still in the hospital, we do not know the details of what he will need to do for recovery.
I’m hoping we can begin to alleviate some of the stress that comes from health emergencies like this.
He may be unable to work for a while and there will be follow up appointments.
Mike and Melissa are small business owners, so, as you can imagine, not being able to work is a huge challenge to their income.
The funds collected here will help them with incurring medical expenses and helping them with day to day living expenses.
