Dearest Donors and Followers.  Early this morning the Michaud family lost a loving husband, father, son, brother, and a friend to many.  

Thanks to all of you for your generosity.  Now more than ever the Michaud family can use your support.  Whether it be another donation, sharing this page with others, or just keeping them in your prayers as they make arrangements for Mike's final resting place.

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:   Mike Michaud is fighting for his life in Critical Care. On December 23rd he was admitted to the hospital for what was believed to be a digestive problem. Very quickly his health deteriorated and aggressive treatment was given. He has liver and renal failure and the prognosis is dire. As of December 31st, 2021 his doctors have recommended "comfort care" for him. At his bedside, Shelly, his wife of 18 years, and their 16 year-old son Taylor were able to spend New Years Eve with Mike as he was in and out of consciousness. They were able to discuss his situation with him and through hand gestures he wants to continue treatment and not give up.

 

As many of you know and had generously donated in the last few months, his wife Shelly fought a sepsis infection that put her in critical care in late August of 2021. She was in the hospital for nearly 2 1/2 months. Your prayers and generosity have aided in their stacked bills since Shelly's return home. While Shelly has returned home, she is unable to drive and has limited mobility since her incident, thus has not been able to return to work.

 

Now, with Mike incapacitated in the hospital, the Michaud family is relying on what vacation time, and benefits they have left from Mike's employer to meet their daily needs. This coupled with additional medical bills now stacking up, the Michaud family is in need of immediate financial assistance.

 

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated and all monies will be directed to the family's joint bank account.
