Hi! My name’s Tanner. Michael & Melanie are my parents.

Around midday on September 28th, Michael & Melanie swam out of their house in the floodwaters of Hurricane Ian. They were able to find their way to safety, but we’re forced to leave everything behind. Any donations will go directly towards helping them rebuild (replacing essential items, interim room & board, groceries, etc.).

Michael & Melanie worked their entire lives to get into their home on the Estero River. They were afforded the opportunity 7 months ago and pooled their means with hopes of leading a simpler, more quiet life.

They are the kindest and most giving people I know, and believe robustly in kindness and the human spirit. Our hope is that the warmth they’ve spread may repay itself in situations like these.
