Mike May memorial bench fund

First, thank you to those who previously donated to the Idaho Humane Society in Mike’s name, per his obituary. We are so appreciative.

After Mike’s memorial, our family came across the idea of dedicating a bench in a Boise park to him. For many years, Mike took daily walks on the green belt and in Hyatt Hidden Lakes Reserve. We thought it fitting to have a place for reflection in one of his spots, and a bench is available in Hyatt HLR.

Benches are installed by Boise Parks & Rec along with a nameplate. This stone bench will remain in the park, with Mike’s name, for 20 years.

We’ve had many people ask if there was a place to donate, and we think this is a perfect scenario - this bench will serve as a place for all to memorialize Mike and the moments that made them love him.

Our family is humbly asking for help raising this memorial's funds. The total fee for installation is $2800. Anything will help us reach this goal. If you have already donated to IHS, please don’t feel obligated to make an additional donation.
