Sgt. Mike Mascorro was responding to a follow-up call during an active investigation when he got into an altercation with a male subject who ultimately opened fire on him. Sgt Mascorro received wounds to his right arm, chest and lungs. Sgt. Mascorro was airlifted to Casper, Wyoming where he is currently undergoing care for his injuries. His Wife and three children are currently with him in Casper and will need help with housing care, travel expenses and other miscellaneous medical bills. Any help for Sgt. Mascorro and his family would be so greatly appreciated and welcomed.
