Mike & Linda SPEARS-Medical and Travel Expenses

Hi. My name is Bernadette Kellock, and I am fundraising for Mike and Linda Spears of Stellarton, Nova Scotia, Canada. Mike has been unable to work for the past 12 years due to a lung issue that still puzzles Medical Professionals. In the past 6-8 weeks, he contracted Covid-19 and right afterwards developed shingles. As a result, he was admitted to the Aberdeen Hospital. He has lost the ability to walk and cannot sit up without support. After numerous scans and other procedures, Physicians are unsure what the diagnosis is.

They believe Mike will have many months of rehabilitation, including Travel for him and his family. Due to his physical ability, there will be a need for home renovations, including a shower, wheelchair and ramp

Mike and Linda have many friends. Mike worked for Dominion Stores and then for Superstores in several other locations, ending in New Glasgow due to his health issues. Mike has a kind spirit and would help anyone who asks for his help. This is my first time using this fundraiser. I'm hoping that all who know him and those who don't can contribute any amount, large or small, to assist the family with their uncovered medical and home renovation expenses.
