Mike Lau urgently needs a kidney transplant. This fundraiser is to pay expenses related to the transplant and those of a living kidney donor, whom we hope to find ASAP.

Mike is an exceptional young man who needs a kidney transplant because of a rare condition.

A former athlete, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from high school and Santa Clara University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a visiting scholar at Oxford, and during Covid and in insolation, he earned an MPhil at Cambridge University in Engineering for Sustainable Development. He has now been forced to take a medical leave from a PhD at Princeton. He hopes to fight climate change through improving energy and environmental policies which define actions and goals. His most recent work is to help Europe achieve energy independence from Russian gas.
