To know Mike Landry is to love him. To describe him in a few words is difficult as he is so many wonderful things. A husband, dad, grandpa, best friend to many, proud owner of his family business Landry Barbers, and so much more.
Unfortunately, a week ago, Mike was involved in a hit-and-run accident. While on a short motorcycle ride, a car hit him from behind. The car then tried to flee but struck two other vehicles, leaving the driver to take off on foot.
Mike was taken to a trauma center in Santa Ana, where he was assessed for multiple injuries. He currently has a rod in his left femur; his left elbow and wrist were surgically fixed and now have hardware outside his arm. His shoulder was dislocated and now has a new ball and socket. He has four broken ribs and two lower back fractures. He had a laceration on his spleen, but after a blood transfusion, they were able to save it.
Mike has successfully completed his three surgeries and will soon be transferred to a rehab facility where he can begin his long process of recovery. The Landry family thanks you in advance for the constant love and support shown by many friends and family already thus far.
