Mike LaMotte - Gun Violence Victim

I’m starting this go fund me for my big brother Mike LaMotte, a father of 3 who was shot in the face from a random act of violence. What started off as a normal Friday morning of work for Mikey ended in a near death situation. At 6:30am he headed down to the lobby of his hotel for coffee on his way to work and when the elevator opened, his shooter stood before him. Opened fire; someone Mikey has never met in his life. He was rushed to the hospital with life threatening injuries and his road ahead is going to be long. He’s had two facial surgeries and surgeons have informed us that he has lost an eye and that he suffers from a traumatic brain injury.

My family and I are humbled by the outpouring of support and love from family, friends and his co-workers. No donation is too small and we are so grateful for any contribution during this painful time. My brother has always been willing to help others in need and this fund will be able to assist with his expenses. Mikey is one the strongest men I know. He is already fighting to be on his feet and having his kids in his arms again.
