Mike Laird Memorial

Mike... husband...father of 2...paternal grandfather of 10 mo old.....at 43 years young was found a couple nights ago by his wife Janeen having already passed on. I do know that there is no life insurance as Mike was still in his 90day probationary period before benefits were to kick in. His wife Janeen is home currently on medical leave as she very recently had to undergo a surgery for a type of mass that was found in her body......just another trial this family has been going through recently. I just feel compelled to reach out to attempt to relieve some of the incredible financial burdens that come along with such an unexpected death. I believe the wishes are to be cremated but it is my dream that this fundraiser would make it possible for all wishes of the desired service..urn...memorabilia..spreading of ashes etc be able to be completed to all of the family's wishes with the least amount of stressors possible. The following i have copied and pasted from Mikes wife's Facebook page which i believe describes Mike best and the length of their relationship,etc...i pray this exceeds all wishes and shows the good of people out there.

We were two hard headed kids that fell in love at a very young age. We got married too young but somehow made it to 26 years of marriage. 28 years full of love, laughter, fights, forgiveness, births, deaths, injuries, success and failures. Through all of this, we always loved each other. We raised 2 handsome boys and now a perfect grandson. The boys are kind hearted, treat women with respect, open doors for strangers, say please and thank you most of the time. This was learned by watching you. You were a wonderful man with a hard shell and heart too big for your own good. I am thankful for the 28 years we spent together and the family we created. You are flying with angels, watching over all of us and forever in my soul. I have no idea how im going to make it through this, but I will have comfort knowing you are waiting for me on the other side when it's my time. I love you, i pray your are at peace now.
