My name is Tricia and I am helping my children, Sydney and Jake put together a GoFundMe for their dad. Many of you may not know the increased battles Mike has faced for the past 2 years. Mike struggles with medical issues due to Marfan Syndrome and is now facing a new battle. Mike will have surgery next Thursday to remove a cantaloupe size tumor on his kidney. The tumor has grown significantly over the last few months and surgery was quickly set for next week, 3/14/24. The tumor has all the characteristic of being cancerous, but he will wait for the biopsy. Mike has survived 3 open heart surgeries (2 at the Mayo Clinic) and is a fighter!

Mike applied for SSDI and has been denied for 2 years. He has dealt with the detached retina, leaving him 50% blind in his left eye. Each time life throws something at him, he faces it with positivity and post on FB for everyone to 'make someone smile'.

Sydney and Jake would like help for their dad to make him smile and know, financially, he will be okay. The drive to the specialist, labs, and hospitals are expenses that are a MUST but present a hardship. The potential cancer treatment costs are daunting.

Any help you can give to assist Mike is greatly appreciated. I do know we have asked help for his daughter, Sydney, and his son, Jake, this past year but all of it goes to daily cost, fuel and additional doctor expenses. We appreciate each donation.
